Linkage Framework
The ODEMM Linkage Framework is a tool to understand the pathways through which sector-activities affect ecological components. The Linkage Framework can help with decision support and visualisation of the system.
Pressure Assessment
The ODEMM Pressure Assessment is a tool to assess and rank the threat associated with any particular sector/pressure combination on any ecological component. This tool follows on from the Linkage Framework outputs by helping to determine which sectors and activities to prioritise for management.
Ecological Risk Assessment
The Ecological Risk Assessment uses an exposure-effect analysis of the pressure assessment's categorical scoring of the interactions between human activities, pressures and components of the ecosystem, to assess the risk to ecosystems.
Integrated Management Strategy Evaluation (iMSE)
An ODEMM decision-support tool: a comprehensive framework that aims to provide guidance for the identification and selection of consistently defined management options and allows an evaluation of these options to achieve policy objectives through their reduction of risk.

Cost-benefit analysis (CBA) is a decision-making tool that can inform policy-making. ODEMM has developed key resources to facilitate CBA including typologies of costs and benefits, and methods to compare the implications of different management options.
